Many thanks to Julian Hodge Bank for hosting another fascinating economics lecture and dinner on Thursday evening.  Prof. Andrew Scott's talk on the economic and social consequences of our aging population was incredibly thought-provoking.

In short, he argues that the old 3-stage model of human life (education; work; retirement) is over and that existing and future generations will need to reinvent and adapt themselves throughout our extended lives.

I'm pleased to have joined Carbon, which has been created to enable people like me to do just that.

I have just placed an order for Prof Scott's award-winning book, The 100-Year Life.
