Face to face meetings with clients to discuss and fully understand the issues they are facing and to go through documents and/or view a site or see how their business operates are invaluable. This personal contact allows a strategy to be formed and the best advice on the approach and options available to be given. 

Often email exchanges and telephone conversations can become protracted and time consuming.  Sometimes the real issues are missed which would could have been picked up in a face to face meeting. Sadly the idea that this is the more costly option is a fundamental misconception which seems shared by the majority of those who participated in this poll.
